Scottish Highlands Wedding in Benoni

Hi there everyone.
Hope you are all doing well. Well I covered a wedding at Shades of Green in Benoni on the 14th March for Simone and Ian.On the day I met the two Simone was very worried about the rain on her wedding day, and i told her clouds are fine and she must not worry too much.
Well wedding day arrives and the sun is bright and wow, what a wonderful Saturday afternoon, oh wait what is that I see, Global warming ? The weather patterns are all mixed up and we landed up getting a down pour an hour before I left for the shoot. Stressed bride and an very nervous Paul as the rained slowed down and that was some relief while Simone walked into the thatched roof chapel under the thick cover of trees. Now my biggest enemy was the rain drops on the lens as I walked her in. Later we had a period of no rain at all so we had a opportunity for some creative’s in the soaked garden. The rain drops still bugging me as it dripped from the leaves over head.In the end of the day I stayed later than i intended and it turned out to be a blast.I guess Simone wanted to marry a Scotsman so she started off with the typical Scottish Highlands weather. Congratulations Simone and Ian.

Sorry i have not been too active on my blog posting but a full time job does have it's down side, too much work and not enough time. Anyway I am blessed to have this space in time to update everyone as to what is happening in my world. Anyway I will be doing my first wedding for this year at Shades of Green in Benoni. It is a organic farm with a stunning tea garden. A New Year, New Challenges

First things first, I hope every one will have a blessed new year
And may the world problems not effect us too much.
I would like to say that I had a blast doing Tilana and Wesley’s wedding in Dec 2008.
I took them to a very romantic setting with a dam over flowing from the wonderful rain God has blessed us with. Everyone wants to know where this farm is but I am not giving up my secrets.
